Thanks for choosing to spay or neuter your pet! We are thrilled that you are interested in doing your part to control pet overpopulation. Due to our years of working with both the Brown County Humane Society, Clermont County Humane Society, Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue, and The Animal Rescue Fund - we have first hand knowledge of the overpopulation that results in countless and needless deaths of thousands of animals in our area every year! That means that while we love puppies and kittens, the responsible thing to do is to get you pet "fixed"
Our LOW COST SPAY-NEUTER SERVICE is offered due to Dr. Neltner's firm belief that these services should be available and affordable in order to control pet overpopulation. Surgery times are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and all surgery is done by appointment only. We do about 60-70 surgeries a week. Due to our prices, we tend to be busier than the regular vet clinic. Our surgeries are usually scheduled out approximately 3-8 weeks. Please keep that in mind when you call to make an appointment. (Cats schedule further out due to demand)
Please check out our explanation of how the surgery is done!
****NOTE - Prior examination at our hospital is required for older animals. Given the specific health needs of older animals we may also require pre-surgical bloodwork. Please call us at (513)734-7729 for all the details!
